Mindfulness Training
Dr Visvanathan (Dr. V.) provides teaching and training in mindfulness skills for those who are new to mindfulness or interested in renewing or deepening their practice. These trainings provide guidance around ways in which to apply mindfulness skills to the stresses of daily living. The aim is to help individuals cope effectively with life events that may be associated with distress or pain, to reconnect with the experience of joy and pleasure, and to make wise and healthy decisions that can improve life quality and satisfaction.
Dr. V. has developed a 4-session training plan for those seeking short-term training and support. Mindfulness skills training can be delivered in an individual format at her office location or in group format on-site at your organization or workplace offices. Group trainings can be tailored to the needs of the client and may be brief, intensive over one or more days, or delivered in shorter periods over several weeks to maximize learning.
